Chinggis Khaan, his legacy and Indian culture
映像Mongolian and Indian scholars have congregated in Ulaanbaatar for a scientific conference on the theme “Chinggis Khaan, his legacy and Indian culture” scheduled on September 28 and 29.
The conference’s agenda includes reports on the themes of Traditional image of Chinggis khan; Chinggis khan and modern Mongolian identity; Buddhist dimension and Indian culture; Geopolitical implications; and Economic prospects of Mongolia and India.
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in partnership with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National University of Mongolia are organizing the conference. 17 Indian scholars headed by the President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations are taking part in the academic event as follow-up of a state visit of the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to Mongolia.
