Parliament's irregular session takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the morning of July 10, the Parliament’s irregular session was convened in order to appove the draft Resolution on Approving the Authority of the President of Mongolia and organizing the inauguration ceremony of newly elected President Kh.Battulga.
The draft resolution was approved by 96.5 percent votes of the Parliament members who attended the session. Hence, the Democratic Party candidate Kh.Battulga has been officially elected as the fifth President of Mongolia.
Furthermore, the Parliament’s draft resolution on “Setting the Date of Inauguration Ceremony of the President of Mongolia” was discussed. The Parliament scheduled to hold the Inauguration Ceremony at 11.40 AM today on July 10, 2017. However, due to the prolonging session, the Inauguration Ceremony has been postponed to take place at 12.30PM on July 10, 2017.
The draft resolution was approved by 96.5 percent votes of the Parliament members who attended the session. Hence, the Democratic Party candidate Kh.Battulga has been officially elected as the fifth President of Mongolia.
Furthermore, the Parliament’s draft resolution on “Setting the Date of Inauguration Ceremony of the President of Mongolia” was discussed.
