Ulaanbaatar, April 20, 2026 /MONTSAME/. “The Unopened Letter,” a motion picture by Aranjin Pictures, is competing at the 48th Moscow International Film Festival, held from April 16 to 23.

Around 200 films from 43 countries are participating in the festival. “The Unopened Letter” is competing against the top 12 global films in the festival's most prestigious main contest for the “Golden George” award.

Notably, the film “Unopened Letter”, inspired by “The Toono with an Incomplete Pattern” by the Hero of Labor and Honored Writer of Mongolia Lkhagvasuren Bavuu, stands out for portraying the delicate emotional bonds of human relationships and the profound meaning embedded in traditional Mongolian life.

This production is the latest work by Aranjin Pictures, created collaboratively by director Batdelger Byambasuren, producer and sound director Tserentogtokh Lkhagvabayar, and cinematographer Guyenbaatar Gankhuyag.
