‘The Unopened Letter’ Competing in Moscow Film Festival

April 20, 2026 /MONTSAME/. “The Unopened Letter,” a motion picture by
Aranjin Pictures, is competing at the 48th Moscow International Film Festival,
held from April 16 to 23.
Around 200
films from 43 countries are participating in the festival. “The Unopened Letter”
is competing against the top 12 global films in the festival's most prestigious main contest for the “Golden George” award.
Notably, the
film “Unopened Letter”, inspired by “The Toono with an Incomplete Pattern” by the Hero of Labor and Honored Writer of Mongolia Lkhagvasuren Bavuu, stands
out for portraying the delicate emotional bonds of human relationships and the
profound meaning embedded in traditional Mongolian life.
This production
is the latest work by Aranjin Pictures, created collaboratively by director Batdelger
Byambasuren, producer and sound director Tserentogtokh Lkhagvabayar, and
cinematographer Guyenbaatar Gankhuyag.
