Draft Law on Licensing to be submitted to Parliament

of the State Great Khural, Chair of Mongolia-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Group L.Badyelkhan
held a virtual meeting with Chair of Kazakhstan-Mongolia group in the Mazhilis,
the lower house of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Rau Albert Pavlovich.
MP L.Badyelkhan, at the
beginning of the meeting, noted that the purpose of the meeting was to study
the country’s experience with the Law on Licensing and its implementation as
part of preparations for the draft Law on Licensing of Mongolia that will
be submitted to the Parliament.
"The State Great Khural passed
the Law on Business Licensing in 2001,” said the MP, adding that licensing is currently
regulated by over 300 laws and regulations in Mongolia and that a working group
has been set up to submit the draft Law on Licensing to the State Great Khural
and the relevant Standing Committee.
The sides also discussed
relations and cooperation between the legislatures of the two countries.
