1.7 million people get first dose of COVID-19 vaccine nationwide

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Since the vaccination rollout launched
in February, 1,792,657 people or 86.7 percent of the total population have been
vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine and 651,588 people or 31.5 percent
with the second dose.
Of the total vaccinated people, 924,457 are the residents of
Ulaanbaatar, of whom 496,758 or 52.1 percent have been vaccinated with both doses.
As for the residents of the rural regions, 868,200 people have
been vaccinated, of whom 154,830 have been vaccinated with both doses.
Mongolia
plans to fully vaccinate its about 2.06 million people aged over 18.
