18 new COVID-19 cases recorded

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to the National Center for Communicable Diseases, 18 COVID-19 cases have been detected after tests were performed on 12,885 people nationwide on January 28.
The new cases confirmed by repeated tests are close contacts of previously reported cases including a staff of a pizza restaurant and those detected at X apartment, Central Narcology Hospital, and an apartment building in 12th sub-district of Bayangol district.
Mongolia now has 1,710 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 1,303 recoveries.
