Defense Minister receives Hungarian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On January 15, Minister of Defense G.Saikhanbayar received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Mongolia Dr. Borbala Anna Obrusánszky.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the relations between the two countries, especially in the defense sector, and current state of partnership, further development, and measures to be taken.
Highlighting that it has been over 70 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Hungary, Minister G.Saikhanbayar expressed that legal environment has been created and there are many opportunities to actively develop cooperation in the defense sector in the framework of the memorandum of understanding, wishing success in her diplomatic mission.
In response, Ambassador Dr. Borbala Obrusánszky expressed her satisfaction in the consistent development of partnership between the two countries over the years, and pledged to work on the two countries’ partnership further in the defense sector, especially in military education, health, history, and research, cooperating in more matters in the field.
