‘International Jazz Day’ concerts on stage

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. It has been eight years
since UNESCO declared April 30 as International Jazz Day. Mongolia will
officially mark this day for the third year. To make Mongolian jazz lovers enjoy
wonderful jazz music and introduce jazz music development in Mongolia, Fat Cat
jazz club in collaboration with UNESCO is offering a special program for International
Jazz Day. It aims to introduce famous jazz music of Mongolian jazz musicians
and lead young generation to have creative, open and positive thinking.
Jazz day series:
April 26: a launch of ‘Day Off’ album, Fat Cat
jazz club, 9pm, free of charge
April 27: a tribute show for legendary
jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, Fat Cat jazz club, 9pm
April 29: The Martin
Zenker Quartet performance, Fat Cat jazz club, 9pm
April 30: a
performance of Bayanmongol Jazz Band, singer Naagii, singer Enkhjargal and
world’s famous musicians for the International Jazz Day, IMAX, Shangri-La,
7.30pm
