Ulaanbaatar, September 1, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The “Endless Surroundings” joint exhibition by the Khureelen Bui Khyazgaargui art collective has opened at the HUE Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar.

The exhibition brings together works from five painters and one sculptor, spanning three generations of Mongolian art. More than 100 pieces are on display, showcasing a diverse range of styles from realism to abstract and contemporary, alongside sculpture, underscoring the breadth of the country’s artistic expression.

The featured artists include Mongolian State Honoree and People’s Artist Bold Dolgorjav; Honored Artists of Mongolia Narangerel Tsendsuren and Tumurbaatar Badarch; Cultural Envoy to Germany and State Honored Artist Gan-Erdene Tsend; Leading Cultural Worker Bazarvaani Sambuu; and Davaasambuu Tumennast, an Honored Awardee of the Union of Mongolian Artists.

Drawing inspiration from their surroundings, each artist approaches color and composition in distinct ways, reflecting the theme of boundless creative possibility.

HUE Art Gallery’s Director and painter Batjin Boldbaatar said, “In June, we opened this gallery built to international standards, designed to become a benchmark in Mongolia. We are committed to professionally preserving, presenting, and selling works by outstanding Mongolian artists. As the value of artworks continues to grow over time, proper preservation and public access remain essential. In September, we will host an exhibition of artists from Uvs aimag.”

Notably, HUE Art Gallery has established Mongolia’s first climate-controlled storage room for paintings, capable of securely preserving more than 200 fine arts.

The exhibition is to remain open until September 18, 2025.
