Winter festival in Bayankhongor to feature various events

Bayankhongor /MONTSAME/ A
winter festival named ‘Cold breeze of River Tuin’ is scheduled to run on
January 19 in Bayankhongor aimag with a purpose to promote traditional winter games in combination with tourism, culture and sports.
Organizers said that it also aims to form good habit of spending time in fresh air. The festival will be featured with various events, such as competitions of ice sculpturing, selecting the best dressed couple in national costume, ice knucklebone shooting, skating and tastes of field tea.
During the event, an
exhibition-fair on handcrafts and souvenirs will be held.
