Khuslen Ariunjargal Wins Bronze Medal at Asian Cup

Ulaanbaatar, September 8, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The FIS Ski Asian Cup 2025 Championships concluded in Astana, Kazakhstan, on September 7, 2025.
More than 100 athletes from nine countries competed in the tournament, with Mongolia represented by five skiers, including B. Achbadrakh and A. Khuslen. Among them, national team member A. Khuslen secured the bronze medal in the men’s 200-metre super sprint. He topped the preliminary round with a time of 18.13 seconds and advanced to the finals.
With this result, Khuslen has improved his qualification points for the upcoming Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. In the previous Asian Cup race, he finished fourth, and his ranking now opens the possibility of being among the top 10 athletes in Asia.
Last year, Khuslen won the gold medal at the Junior World Roller Skiing Championships, marking a historic achievement for Mongolian skiing.
