Swiss skiers compete in Mongolian ski competition

Bulgan/MONTSAME/ A ski competition ‘Pioneers’ Cup-2019’ was held on January 6 for the second year in Teshig soum of Bulgan aimag. In this year’s competition, four skiers from Switzerland competed and won three gold medals.
The
ski competition was carried out in four age categories among teen athletes,
alongside two age categories among adults and relay contest.
Winners were A.Ariunbileg of
Bulgan aimag (girls’ 2.5km event -age 11-12), O.Altangerel of Bulgan aimag (boys’
2.5km event-age 11-12),G.Nyamtulga of Bulgan aimag (girls’ 25km event- age
13-14), U.Enkhsaikhan of Orkhon aimag (boys’ 2.5km event – age 13-14), Frehoiz
Lijou from Switzerland (girls’ 7.5km event –age 15-16), B.Dalkhsuren (boys’
7.5km –age 15-16), and Sh.Ariunjargal (girls’ 5km event- age 17-18 ) and
O.Zolbayar (boys’ 10km – age 17-18).
International master
Ganzorig won a gold medal in men’s event for aged 26-36 while Alian Forst
topped the event of age category over 37.
