Paid leave granted to parents taking care of their sick children
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The resolution on allowing paid parental leave for the legal guardians of the children, suffering from acute respiratory infections, entered into force on January 1, 2017. The paid parental leave can last from three to five days.
With the enforcement of the cabinet resolution, parents with children under five will enjoy discounts on the prices of medicines for treatment of cold and flu, which are the most common illnesses recorded in winter time.
State-run family clinics will be open on Saturdays between January 2 and March 1 apart from their regular working hours from Monday to Friday.
