Carried freight by air transport decreases by 178.2 tons

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In the first four months of 2021, 995.9 thousand tons of freight carried by air transportation. The carried freight decreased by 178.2 thousand tons (15.2%) compared to the same period of the previous year.
The total carried domestic freight by air transport reached 2.2 tons (0.2%), decreased by 27.6 tons (92.7%) compared to the same period of the previous year. The international freight reached 993.7 thousand tons (99.8%), decreased by 150.5 thousand tons (13.2%) compared to the same period of the previous year.
In the first four
months of 2020, 32.7 thousand passengers (double counting) carried by air
transport. The number of carried passengers decreased by 209.2 thousand (86.5%)
compared to the same period of the previous year.
