Energy Minister meets UN Resident Coordinator

/MONTSAME/ Minister of Energy Ts.Davaasuren on January 23 met with Resident
Coordinator of the United Nations in Mongolia Tapan Mishra.
At the
beginning of the meeting, Minister Ts.Davaasuren congratulated Mr. Tapan Mishra
on his appointment as the UN Resident Coordinator in Mongolia and wished the best in his future endeavors.
Noting his
pleasure at meeting the Minister responsible for a sector that has an important
role in the development of Mongolia, the Resident Coordinator gave
information on the UN reforms and expressed his views on bilateral cooperation
issues.
The Energy
Minister then informed of the current state of Mongolia’s energy sector,
actions being taken to reduce air pollution in the capital city, and the sector’s
mid-term development plan.
