UK-funded training for Mongolian law enforcement officers being conducted

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. UK-funded training on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) and Forensics for Mongolian law enforcement officers started on June 27.
The training is aimed to build the enforcement knowledge and capacity of Mongolia’s Ecological Police and other relevant organizations.
In his opening speech, Mr
James Holder, Charge d’Affaires, highlighted that "this training is yet another
example of the broad and strong ties and cooperation between the UK and
Mongolia across governance, trade and many other areas".
The training is being conducted
by experts from the UK National Crime Agency, London police and ZSL UK. The
training will continue until July 1.
