COVID-19: 629 new cases, five deaths reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 629 new cases of COVID-19 were
recorded after 6,823 tests performed nationwide in the past 24 hours.
627 of the new cases are community-acquired cases, of which
603 were detected in Ulaanbaatar city and 24 in rural areas. The remaining two
are hospital-acquired cases.
51,247 COVID-19 cases have so far been recorded in the country. In the past 24 hours, 754 people were discharged from hospital, bringing the total number of recoveries to 45,145.
4,011 people are currently receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19. 1,829 people with mild cases of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.
The Ministry of Health also reported that five people died from
COVID-19 on May 20, which brings the COVID-19 death toll to 240.
