MFA, IDEA jointly held training for diplomats

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Stockholm-based International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), organized a virtual training themed ‘Democracy for Diplomats’ on May 10.
Initiated by the IDEA, this training for the diplomats of Mongolia was an innovative initiative aimed at deepening diplomats' understanding of democracy and improving staff's ability to analyze information.
More than 20 diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the virtual training, where researchers from the Institute taught the analysis of the state of democracy and the challenges and opportunities for democracy in key regions of the world.
