One new case of COVID-19 detected in Selenge aimag

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At today’s 11 AM daily press briefing
of the Ministry of Health, A.Ambaselmaa, Head of the Surveillance Department,
the National Center for Communicable Diseases, reported that yesterday,
December 15, a total of 12,771 people were tested at laboratories nationwide,
resulted in detection of one new case of COVID-19. The case was recorded in
Selenge, and the patient was close contact with the previously confirmed
case.
No new infections recorded in Ulaanbaatar and Darkhan-Uul,
Orkhon, Gobisumber and Arkhangai aimags.
Today, the number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia is 918, with
465 local transmission cases. Of the total cases, 384 people made recoveries,
and 525 people are undergoing treatment at the hospitals.
