Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on December 9, the Cabinet decided to submit to the Parliament a draft law on the extension of the Law on COVID-19 prevention, fight, and mitigation of its socioeconomic impact, which expires on December 31, 2020, until June 30, 2021. 

       

The Cabinet approved the plan of actions for the implementation of the Government’s Action Program for 2020-2024. The measures will be annually funded from state and local budgets, foreign loans and assistance, and public and private partnership funding. 1,087 actions will be undertaken as part of 6 key policies on human development, economic and green development, governance, and urban, regional and local development and overcoming social and economic difficulties caused by COVID-19, with 23 principal goals, and 259 objectives. 

 

In light of the ongoing public state of readiness, the annual nationwide census of livestock and pets will be taken within this month. The Cabinet instructed the National Statistics Office to address the issue in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The census is taken every year on December 7-17 in accordance with the Cabinet resolution No. 224 of October 14, 2003.
