Online meeting held with experts

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. A council of experts under
the State Emergency Commission (SEC) was set up to develop scientifically and
evidence-based recommendations for the response measures, policies and
decisions being made by the SEC during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yesterday, November 24, the Deputy Prime Minister and Head
of the SEC Ya. Sodbaatar held the first online meeting with the council of
experts, exchanging views on the response actions being taken by the SEC amid the
COVID-19.
The council of experts is comprised of 22 scientists and
experts, including the council’s head Prof. N. Khurelbaatar, President of the Mongolian
National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS); the council’s deputy head Dr.
Associate Prof. Ch. Khashchuluun, teacher at Department of Economics of the
National University of Mongolia; the council’s secretary Dr. G. Darambazar,
director of the School of Bio-Medicine of MNUMS, as well as other members.
