Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At today’s COVID-19 daily press
briefing of the Ministry of Health, it has been reported that a total of 553
coronavirus tests have been carried out on August 26, yesterday, and one of
them was confirmed positive. A 35-year old Mongolian citizen, who arrived on a
charter flight from S.Korea on August 22, was tested positive after his
repeated test.
Moreover, two more recoveries have been reported. They are
being transferred into next stage isolation.
As of today, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia is
301, with 291 recoveries or 96.6 percent. Ten patients are now being treated at
the National Center for Communicable Diseases.
