“Community Development Center” to be founded in all districts

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Yesterday, on June 14, Governor of the Capital City S.Amarsaikhan along with corresponding officials informed to the public that it was planned to build “Community Development Center”, which is to be comprised of sports field dedicated to children, youths and elders, cultural center, dance hall, library, rest room and restaurant as well as a 20-family model apartment in all districts of the capital city, approving their blueprints and resolving the required funding for them.



During the event, Governor S.Amarsaikhan said “We started implementing projects and programs on establishment of Community Development Center in each district of the capital city and social infrastructure development for appropriate leisure time spending of the residents. We are focusing on developing infrastructure in ger areas, especially social infrastructure. Training centers, business incubator center and integrated service center will be included in it as well. We are attaching special attention on access of development policy and decisions to nine districts of the capital city at the same level.”


Construction of Community Development Center has begun in four districts while construction of model apartment that satisfies income of the residents has started in two districts. The Center is projected to have three layers including elders hall, child development center and library as well as cultural center. And Its outer space will be fully beautified with basketball court, bus station and other green facilities, ger areas development investment project coordinator Sh.Avirmed highlighted.


“An affordable housing project, especially a rent-to-own apartment project has successfully implemented in the past. Infrastructure works will be carried out along with community centers to be established in each district. We are intending to make the center complex with infrastructure, work places and favorable living environment,” Head of the Capital City Housing Corporation B.Sukhbaatar said.
