162 households to have new apartments in Umnugobi aimag

Umnugobi /MONTSAME/ 162 households are to move into new
apartments following the completion of ongoing redevelopment of Umnugobi aimag’s
Dalanzadgad soum.
The aimag has been under redevelopment since 2018
and some apartment buildings that reached the end of their lifespan in
Dalanzadgad soum are being rebuilt. A total of 52 households that were residing
in the old buildings and another 110 families are entitled to the new
apartments. The residential buildings currently under construction will have
service centers.
“Local council of Umnugobi aimag has decided to reconstruct
aged buildings that no longer comply with building codes. The construction of 162
new apartments on the old site of such buildings will be completed in April.
This year, two more residential areas will undergo redevelopment,” said the
aimag’s Governor S.Munkhbayar.
