Project agreement on renovation of Gobi-Altai aimag school signed

Gobi-Altai /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Kobayashi Hiroyuki, and Governor of Gobi-Altai aimag V.Rentsendorj signed a project agreement within the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects by the Japanese Government.
School no.3 of Yusunbulag soum of Gobi-Altai aimag is to go under renovation in the framework of the project. As the school building had no heavy renovation since its establishment in 1969, the work and study environment of teachers and students will be greatly enhanced as a result.
So far, a total of 550 projects have been implemented since the Grass-Roots Human Security Project began to be implemented in Mongolia in 1990. About 80 percent of the total projects were implemented in the educational sector.
