Mongolian delegation visits Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological Tourism

/MONTSAME/ While working in Italy on November 14-17, State Secretary of the Ministry of
Environment and Tourism Ts.Tsengel led Mongolian delegation at the 21st edition
of the Mediterranean Exchange of Archaeological Tourism (MEAT), an
international exhibition held at the ancient city of Paestum, Italy.

Kh.Sergelenbaatar represented our country at the event which aims to enhance
tourism and cultural exchange through promoting history and culture, especially
through archaeological discoveries. Representatives from the
Embassies of 24 countries, international organizations and tour operators
attended the exhibition.
Moreover, during
the exhibition, State Secretary Ts.Tsengel and Ambassador Ts.Jambaldorj held
meetings with the former Director-General of UNESCO Irina Bokova, Cambodia's
Minister of Culture Phoeung Sakona, Director of MEAT Ugo Picarelli and other representatives,
exchanging views on cooperation issues.
