Przewalski Gold Medal to be awarded to Mongolian scholar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Russian Geographical Society decided to award Mongolian academician D.Dorjgotov with the Przewalski Gold Medal, the highest award of the society.
The Przewalski Gold Medal is awarded for new discoveries and scholarly proceedings in geography. D.Dorjgotov becomes the first Mongolian scholar and the second person in Asia to receive the Przewalski Gold Medal.
The Gold Medal will be presented on August 30 at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
