 Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ The Cabinet meeting, held on August 8, made the following decisions.

-Cabinet members discussed a proposal of Foreign Affairs Minister D.Tsogtbaatar about opening Mongolia’s Trade Representative Offices in Tokyo, Beijing and Vladivostok in 2018-2019, in Moscow and Tianjin in 2019-2021, and in Seoul and Brussels in 2021-2023 respectively. Relevant ministers were assigned to submit the issues at the scheduled time and to budget the expenditure to establish Trade Representative Office in the state budget of respective year.

-  The Cabinet supported a draft intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in educational sector between Mongolia and the Republic of Serbia. Within the agreement, it intends to develop direct cooperation between organizations, exchange teachers, share experiences and organize meetings and conferences. 

-   National program ‘Classical art III’ was approved. Measures to be taken within the national program will be reflected in the Basic Guidelines to develop socio-economy annually and financed with state and local budgets, assistance of international organizations and private sectors. The national program will be realized in 2018-2023.

- The 11th meeting of Mongolia-Laos intergovernmental commission on trade, economy, science and technical cooperation will take place on August 20-23 in Ulaanbaatar. At the meeting, it is expected to review present state of bilateral relations and decisions of the previous meeting and exchange views on expanding bilateral cooperation.

- The Cabinet decided to reward a dancer R. Bulgan who won 2nd place at Arabesque-2018: Russian Open Ballet Competition, and E. Khanui and E. Emujin, students of Conservatory of Mongolia who won 3rd place respectively at Kocian Violin Competition, Czech Republic.
