Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Thursday, President Kh.Battulga sent an official letter to the Parliamentary Speaker on putting veto on Parliamentary resolution N58 partly. The part of the parliamentary resolution on appointing MP Ch.Khurelbaatar as Finance Minister is subject to the ban.

“Newly formed Government must pay special attention on the health and educational sectors, which are basis for existence and development of Mongolia and it must work hard for raising salary of teachers and doctors, furthermore all state servants. Unfortunately, Ch.Khurelbaatar proposed just after his appointment to distribute MNT300 thousand to each state servant as single-benefit allowance, totaling MNT55 billion. We should not have the Finance Minister, who worsens the country's economy by distributing budget money inefficiently when the economy of the country is in difficult situation. Today, state servants are not demanding single-benefit allowance, they want to raise their constant income-monthly salary,” reads the letter.

The President also noted that he will put veto on such Parliamentary decisions, regulations and laws, which would lead to budgetary and economic crisis.
