Art and writing contest held within Global Money Week

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In compliance with the “Global Money Week”, the Ministry of Education, Culture,, Science and Sport along with Bank of Mongolia, President's Office, Mongolian Bankers Association, Deposit Insurance Corporation of Mongolia organized arts and writing contest on money management among children on April 14. Under the theme “Learn-save-earn”, the “World Money Week” took place between March 27 and April 2.
In the competition, a total of 620 works were submitted including 270 essays and 350 paintings. In the teachers’ essay contest on business administration, S.Javkhlant won the first place while N.Dagiimaa was placed second and S.Erdenesukh at third. As for the competition for students, M.Zolboo won the first place while A.Jargalmaa earned second place and A.Ankhbadral was placed third.
Global Money Week is an annual global celebration, initiated by Child & Youth Finance International, with local and regional events and activities aimed at inspiring children and youth to learn about money, saving, creating livelihoods, gaining employment and becoming an entrepreneur.
