Mongolia, Japan exchange notes on visa waiver
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the sidelines of the ongoing visit of Prime Minister J.Erdenebat to Japan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren and the Minister-Counsellor of the Japan Embassy in Ulaanbaatar Kikuchi Minoru have exchanged notes on exemption of visa for holders of diplomatic passports for travels within 30 days.
Japan’s authorities have been alleviating the travel requirements for Mongolian nationals. Mongolian nationals, holding regular passports are allowed three-year multiple entry visas.
