Education Minister participates in 2021 Global Education Meeting

/MONTSAME/. UNESCO brought together the ministers and representatives of the
international education community on July 13 for the Global Education Meeting’s
Ministerial segment.
During
the meeting, Minister of Education and Science of Mongolia L.Enkh-Amgalan
delivered a speech. In his speech, the Minister briefed on the measures taken
by the Government of Mongolia to mitigate the negative impact of the COVID-19
pandemic in the education sector, particularly the projects implemented in this
area with the support of UNESCO and other UN agencies and partner
organizations.
He also
expressed Mongolia's readiness to support the documents, recommendations, and
initiatives developed by UNESCO in aims of finding sustainable solutions to the
learning crisis caused by the pandemic.
During
the event, the participants exchanged views on the challenges the education sector
is facing amid the pandemic, effective ways to implement the 2030 program, and accelerating
the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4.
