48th WorldSkills Competition 2026 to Be Held in Shanghai

2025 /MONTSAME/. The 48th “WorldSkills Competition,” commonly referred to
as the Olympics of skills, will be organized from September 22 to 27, 2026, in
Shanghai city, the People’s Republic of China.
The competition is an
opportunity to discover talent and challenge the skills of international
students, trainees, and youth in vocational and technical education, serving as
a platform for the development of skills for participants, teachers, the state,
and non-governmental organizations.
The “WorldSkills International” organization holds the biennial competition, bringing together over 89 countries. The world’s leading technology company, “Samsung,” will work as the main sponsor of the “WorldSkillsShanghai2026.”
Two of the seven Mongolian
students who participated from vocational and technical education and training institutions
in the “WorldSkills Lyon 2024” were awarded the medallion for excellence, scoring
700 points. The remaining five participants competed with performances very
close to 700 points.
