Agriculture Minister holds meeting with delegates of German farmer’s cooperatives

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Ch.Ulaan held a meeting with delegates of farmer’s cooperatives of Brandenburg state of Germany.
The meeting aimed to be acquainted with management, organization and operation of agricultural cooperatives in Germany as well as taxation and incentives system in agriculture sphere. Furthermore, the parties shared views on cooperation opportunities.
German cooperatives provide assistance to its member farms to resolve their human resource issues and the Agriculture Minister was informed that Mongolian youths are working and conducting practice in two member farms of cooperatives in Brandenburg state.
The sides mutually exchanged opinions on implementing a program to study Mongolian students in professional universities of Germany in the fields of agriculture, make them practice in entities within specific period and work as professional personnel in Mongolia.
During his working trip to Germany, Minister Ch.Ulaan visited a dairy farm in South Brandenburg, that have 500 heads of cows. It gets an average of 40-50 liter milk per day per cow and its daily capacity is 10.0000-12.0000 liters of milk.
