Electronic Information Center opens in Khovd
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Health Department of Khovd
province has established an Electronic Information Center with the aim of exchanging
information promptly with soum health centers and providing knowledge and
skills to doctors and professionals based on electronic technology.
UNFPA supplied to the center 15 kinds of information technology
equipment with investment of MNT 8 million. In addition, hand-held equipment,
such as cameras and microphones, were delivered to soum health centers. It allows
16 soum health centers to be connected to the Health Department of the province
through the center to exchange information on timely issues and hold conferences
and training.
According to officials, in the future the Electronic Information Center activities will be expanded, connecting it with the Family Health Centers of Jargalant soum, Ministry of Health and the Health Development Center for sharing advice and patient data and holding meetings.
