Sub-programme approved on supporting animal husbandry
Economy | AgricultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting on Monday approved this sub-programme with an aim to introduce progressive technologies for improving a quality and productivity of animal husbandry, within the “Good herder” programme.
Due to need of broadening the animal husbandry’s productions and introducing progressive technologies for developing the sphere with a VAT network, the sub-programme has been worked out in order to realize a governmental decision on granting 10% interest to herders through commercial banks for supporting their productions.
According to the sub-programme, herders can receive the 10% interest loans to improve technologies, for example, to buy necessary injections, sanitation and medicines, prepare hay and fodder, small-sized tractors and facilities, improve the animal breeds.
