Transloading terminal at Shiveekhuren border checkpoint to be put into operation in September
On May 27, Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene and corresponding ministers became acquainted with the operations of Shiveekhuren-Sekhee border checkpoint and the progress of the construction being carried out for a transloading terminal.

The Cabinet made the decision to have a 226-km railroad be constructed en route Zuunbayan-Khangi through a concession agreement on February 23 this year. A step towards energy independence: Chargait Hydropower Plant
For the very first time, discussions have begun to take place for establishing a hydropower plant in Mongolia with the investment of private entities. The plant in question is the Chargait Hydropower Plant that is currently being planned to be built near one of the largest rivers of Mongolia - the Delgermurun River located 28 km from Tosontsengel soum, and 50 km from the centre of Khusvgul aimag.

Construction of new pathway for export kicks off
In the framework of the ‘New Revival Policy’, the construction of railway en route Zuunbayan - Khangi kicked off today on March 11. The railway connection is considered to be of high significance as it will create a new route for imports and exports.
Bogdkhan railway project works planned to be launched this spring
In 2021, the Cabinet gave the permission to construct the main infrastructure of the Bogdkhan railway project to ‘Tavantolgoi Tumur Zam’ LLC in 2021, with plans to launch its works this spring.

Substructure construction of Bogdkhan Railway Bypass Line to begin in the third quarter
At the Cabinet meeting on August 4, Tavan Tolgoi Railway LLC was authorized to construct the substructure of Bogdkhan railway bypass line. The construction will commence within the third quarter of 2021.
