Ulaanbaatar, August 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Starting from July 2025, Mobicom is offering a special promotion for international visitors — the “Tourist Data SIM” with 1GB of free data. The SIM is available at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, local airports, border checkpoints, and Mobicom branches.
Tourists can connect to the internet
immediately upon arrival in Mongolia, using either an eSIM or a physical SIM,
to access essential apps and stay in touch with loved ones.
The Free Tourist SIM is a promotional service enabling foreign visitors to instantly connect to the internet during their stay in Mongolia at no cost. This promotion is valid until September 17, 2025.
The free 1GB data is valid for
24 hours and can be obtained:
- At Chinggis Khaan International Airport’s
international arrivals area (both eSIM QR and physical SIM)
- At the VIP taxi service area (eSIM QR
only)
- In the future, also through travel
agencies, major border checkpoints, and local airports (eSIM QR only).
