“President Sports Complex” Named After Heads of State to Be Built

Ulaanbaatar, August 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Chairman of the State Committee for Physical Education and Sports of Mongolia, Bilegt Erdenesaikhan, and Advisor to the President of Mongolia, Amarsaihan Sharkhuu, met with the management of the company implementing the “President Sports Complex” project, named after the Heads of State of Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China, on August 19, 2025.


The complex will be constructed east of the Dunjingarav Shopping Center, in the cultural and recreational area north of the National Garden Park, featuring green spaces. The facility will cover an area of 58,000 square meters and accommodate over twenty types of sports activities. It will provide children and youth with a venue for healthy recreation, physical development, and improved training conditions for athletes participating in Olympic, continental, and world competitions.


The “President Sports Complex” will have a simultaneous capacity of 1,327 people, allowing 4,500-6,000 children and youth to practice sports daily and serving 8,000-10,000 people overall. The project will be implemented with grant aid from the People’s Republic of China.
