Oil-importing companies to store at least 30 days of petroleum stocks
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. During the Cabinet meeting held today, November 19, some 22 oil-importing entities were given a task to set aside reserves of crude oil enough for 30-day consumption next year.
Revenue from railway transport reaches MNT 587.0 billion
In the first 10 months of 2019, 23.0 million tonnes of freight and 2.5 million passengers (double counting) were carried by railway transport. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the carried freight increased by 2.0 million tonnes (9.4%) and the number of carried passengers increased by 304.1 thousand passengers (14.0%).
Harvested potatoes increases by 13.5 percent than last year
According to National Statistics Office of Mongolia, 397.2 thousand tons of grain was harvested nationwide as of November 1. 189.2 thousand tons of potatoes, 91.1 thousand tons of vegetables were harvested as well as 1.1 million tons of hay, 39.6 thousand of fodder plant and 5.3 thousand tons of silage.

In the first 10 months of 2019, total equilibrated revenue and grants of the General government budget amounted to MNT 8.8 trillion and total expenditure and net lending amounted to MNT 8.3 trillion, resulting a surplus of MNT 545.4 billion in the equilibrated balance.

In the first 10 months of 2019, Mongolia traded with 148 countries from all over the world and total trade turnover reached USD 11.6 billion, of which USD 6.5 billion were exports and USD 5.1 billion were imports.

Mongolia exports 32.3 million tons of coal as of first ten months
Mongolia planned to export 42 million tons of coal in 2019. According to statistics of Mongolian General Customs Administration, Mongolia has exported 32.3 million tons of coal as of first ten months of 2019 which means there is a necessity to export 9.7 tons of coal in order to reach the goal.
