“Khasyn Khuleguud” Team Leads Group B with Three Consecutive Wins

Ulaanbaatar, May 6, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Basketball Champions League East Asia, organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), is currently underway.
Representing Mongolia in Group B, the 2023–2024 season champions of the League, “Khasyn Khuleguud,” concluded its away games with three consecutive victories, advancing to the top of the group. In particular, the team secured an 81:68 victory over the “New Taipei Kings” of Taiwan in their opening match, followed by an 87:41 win against Singapore’s “Adroit,” and a 63:59 triumph over Thailand’s “Hi-Tech Basketball Club.” With a record of 3–0, “Khasyn Khuleguud” currently leads Group B and is scheduled to play the remaining three matches of the group stage in Mongolia on May 12, 2025.
Meanwhile, “Bishrelt Metal,” also representing Mongolia in Group A, currently ranks fourth in the group with one win and two defeats, earning a total of four points. The top two teams from each group will advance to the final stage to compete for two spots in the BCL Asia.
