President of Mongolia Arrives in Moscow to Attend the Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War

Ulaanbaatar, May 7, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa arrived in Moscow on May 7, 2025, to attend the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Upon the arrival of the President of Mongolia and the Mongolian delegation at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, the Honor Guard of the Russian Federation was lined up in formation. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko, Director of the State Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Bogdashev, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation Enkhtuvshin Ulziisaikhan welcomed President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and the Mongolian delegation.
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will hold an official meeting and exchange views on relations and cooperation between the two countries.
On May 9, 2025, President Khurelsukh will attend the Victory Day Parade at Red Square, along with Heads of State and high-ranking officials, and lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden.
The President also plans to lay wreaths at the "On the Roads of War" monument in Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow and to meet with Soviet and Russian citizens who were awarded the titles Hero of the Mongolian People's Republic and Hero of Labor of the Mongolian People's Republic.
A military contingent from the Mongolian Armed Forces will participate in the Victory Day Parade.
Mongolia has participated in the celebrations marking the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War at the Head of State level in 1995, 2005, 2010, and 2015. Additionally, military contingents from the Mongolian Armed Forces took part in the Victory Day Parades commemorating the 70th and 75th anniversaries.
