COVID-19: Three more cases detected, total at 230 with 202 recoveries
At today’s daily COVID-19 press briefing, D.Nyamkhuu, Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) reported that in the past 24 hours, three more people were diagnosed to have infected with the novel coronavirus after the center has carried out tests on 377 people on July 11.

Mongolia celebrating Naadam Festival, with live broadcasts of traditional events amid COVID-19
Mongolians are celebrating the National Naadam Festival on the occasion of the 2229th anniversary of Foundation of the first Mongolian Statehood, 814th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and 99th anniversary of People’s Revolution of Mongolia with various traditional sports and cultural events nationwide. Days from July 11, Saturday to July 15, Wednesday mark official public holiday in the county in accordance with the law on Public Holiday.

On July 9, Thursday, the new State Great Khural – the parliament of Mongolia formed by the 2020 parliamentary election closed its first plenary session, after confirming Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the parliament and composition and members of the cabinet and finalizing the appointment of new members of the parliamentary standing committees.

President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga today received some members of the cabinet and officials to discuss about the issue of repatriation of Mongolian nationals stranded abroad because of the COVID-19-related border closures to all nationals and instructed them to expand the current repatriation process.
