COVID-19: Three more cases detected, total at 230 with 202 recoveries

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At today’s daily COVID-19 press briefing, D.Nyamkhuu, Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) reported that in the past 24 hours, three more people were diagnosed to have infected with the novel coronavirus after the center has carried out tests on 377 people on July 11. 

 

The three patients are Mongolians, who arrived in the country across Altanbulag border checkpoint with Russia on July 6, and were put immediately under 21-day mandatory isolation in Darkhan-Uul aimag. The patients aged between 21-22 are being brought to the NCCD in Ulaanbaatar for treatment. 


Moreover, two people, both students who were tested positive for COVID-19 after arriving from Russia, have been recovered in the last day and transferred to the next stage of isolation – under health observation at the NCCD. 


As of today, July 12, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 is at 230, and 202 of them have already been recovered.
