Co-organized by the Embassy of India in Mongolia, and the Indian Studies Center of Mongolia, a scientific conference took place under the theme, ‘Culture and traditions of the Indo-Mongoloids of Northern India and the Himalayas, and their ancient relations and similarities with Mongolians’ on November 20.

The official opening of the non-governmental organization, ‘Ukrainians in Mongolia’, took place in Ulaanbaatar on November 16. Officially having registered on October 30, 2019, the organization is to run their operations in the legal framework of Mongolia. Honorary Consul from Ukraine to Mongolia T.Munkhbat, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs, and the Governor’s Office of the Capital City, Consul of the Embassy of Ukraine to the People’s Republic of China Lilia Samoilova, citizens of Ukraine living in Ulaanbaatar, and board members of the Mongolia-Ukraine Friendship Society attended the ceremony.

‘Climate change adaptation in farming’ conference takes place
While the average temperature of the globe increased by 0.85°C in the past 80 years, the temperature has increased by 2.4°C, which is three times more. However, during this period of time, precipitation did not increase--instead, it decreased, causing the farming conditions of Mongolia to become even harder.
