Coal Exports Reach 79 Million Tonnes as Exchange Trading Grows

Ulaanbaatar, December 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s coal exports reached 79 million tonnes in the first 11 months of the year, achieving 93 percent of the Government’s 2025 target of 85 million tonnes, according to the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
Coal exports rose by 1.7 million tonnes, or 2.2 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Mongolia continues to sell its mining products through the national commodity exchange. A total of 937 online auction trades have been organized so far this year.
