Mongolian Boxers Win Four Medals at World Cup of Petroleum Countries

Ulaanbaatar, December 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian boxers claimed four medals at the traditional World Cup of Petroleum Countries held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russian Federation.
Seven athletes competed under the leadership of national team coaches J. Otgonbayar and A. Bat-Ochir at the 22nd edition of the tournament, earning two silver and two bronze medals.
Specifically, T. Enkhtur (67 kg) and D. Ganbold (60
kg) won silver, while B. Misheelt (71 kg) and O. Tuguldur
(80 kg) secured bronze.
Mongolia first medaled at this tournament in
2001, when International Master of Sports Ts. Purevdorj claimed bronze.
