Mid- and short-term policy document to be developed for the capital city
On September 16, a training was jointly organized by the Governor’s Office of the Capital City on developing a mid-term policy for the capital city in correlation with the long- and mid-term policy of Mongolia. Ulaanbaatar-Darkhan road project to be launched
On September 16, Minister of Road and Transport Development L.Khaltar held an online meeting with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Managing Director for Central Asia André Küüsvek and EBRD Head in Mongolia Hannes Takasc. The progression of the project on Ulaanbaatar-Darkhan road extension construction being implemented with EBRD financing, its pressing issues and future measures were discussed at the meeting.

Environment Minister receives CEO of MCA Mongolia
On September 15, Minister of Environment and Tourism D.Sarangerel received CEO of Millennium Challenge Account - Mongolia (MCA Mongolia). In 2018, the Government of Mongolia and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) signed USD 350 million MCC Water Compact aimed at improving the water supply of Ulaanbaatar city.
‘Education for Sustainable Development-II’ project launches
On September 15, the opening ceremony for the ‘Education for Sustainable Development-II’ project took place at Novotel Hotel in Ulaanbaatar city. With aims to mainstream education on sustainable development principles to Mongolia’s socio-economic through the national education system, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) has implemented the project since 2014.
