Outstanding Young Scientists and Doctors Receive Presidential Awards

Ulaanbaatar, December 14, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Researchers and scholars who have made tangible contributions to the advancement of science both globally and nationally through their academic and research work, as well as doctors who have demonstrated outstanding professional excellence in safeguarding public health and delivering medical care and services, have been awarded the 2025 Presidential Awards of Mongolia for “Outstanding Young Scientist” and “Outstanding Young Doctor.”
Outstanding Young Scientists:
- Altantuya Ochirkhuyag, Research Fellow at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
- Turmandakh Bat-Orgil, Lecturer at the Department of Green Energy and Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, National University of Mongolia.
- Tsevelnorov Khurelbaatar, Lecturer at the Department of Gastroenterology, School of Medicine, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences.
Outstanding Young Doctors:
- Tserenbat Bazarsad, Senior Surgeon at the Liver, Biliary and Pancreatic Surgery and Liver Transplantation Unit of the Organ Transplantation Center, First Central Hospital of Mongolia.
- Byambatsogt Lkhagvasuren, Senior Cardiologist and Endovascular Surgeon at the Myocardial Infarction Department of the Third State Central Hospital named after P. N. Shastin.
- Bilegtsaikhan Batsuuri, Senior Physician at the Radiotherapy Department of the National Cancer Center.
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa extended his congratulations to the outstanding young scientists and doctors, as well as to their families and colleagues, wishing them continued success. He also conveyed his greetings on the upcoming anniversary of the restoration of national freedom and independence, and expressed his best wishes for peace and prosperity.
