Cultural events to be organized in Havana

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On September 14, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Cuba Sh.Battsetseg met with Deputy Head of the Office of Culture, Education, Science and Sports of the Governor's Office of Havana Tatiana Viera Hernández and other officials and exchanged views on the issues of organizing cultural events in Ulaanbaatar and Havana.
In particular, the sides agreed to make a TV program to
promote Mongolian and Cuban traditional costumes and heritage, and air it in
December 2021, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the establishment of
diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Cuba. Moreover, it was agreed to open
an exhibition of Mongolian artists at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Cuba
in 2022 and set up a Mongolian mobile “Ger center” in the city’s historical
destinations and introduce Mongolian history, culture and tourism information through
it.
